Home Study Course Requirements

Students already attending class are allowed and encouraged to purchase these DVD's as they will help with the finer points of techniques.

1. You must be an active member with the Jang Mu Won Hapkido International.
2. All home study students must start with the White & Yellow course, unless the student can provide a certificate of rank in Hapkido or another Hapkido related martial art organization.
3. Members are allowed to register for a maximum of two courses at a time.
4. Course must be completed within a year of issuance. Courses are completed by submitting a testing video in CD or DVD format to the Jang Mu Won Hapkido International at any time.
5. Self-Testing DVD /Video submitted shall be examined and graded by a certified examiner of the Jang Mu Won Hapkido International.
6. After passing the examination, tester will receive official rank certificate signed by Jang Mu Won International designated instructor and/or master.
7. Black belt testing can be approved by DVD / Video testing. JMWHI will host a special event for those who want to take the Black Belt Test. You may take your black belt test at one of our official events or we can schedule testing for you with our official Branch School.

Hapkido Traditional Weapons Course

1. If you would like to participate within our Hapkido weapons course, a special request must be made to the Jang Mu Won Hapkido International.
2. As soon as we received your request, we will send you the appointed weapon requirements for certification.
3. Course must be finished within 2 years of issuance.
4. Self-Testing DVD /Video submitted shall be examined and graded by a certified examiner of the Jang Mu Won Hapkido International.
5. After passing the examination, tester will receive official completion certificate signed by Jang Mu Won designated instructor and/or master.
6. Participants must be 18 or older.
7. In order to purchase weapons, please provide a valid ID (Driver's license, State ID Card, Passport).
8. Shipping Address must be a physical address, not a P.O. Box.

The Evaluation Fee covers the cost of the official certificate, as well as the shipping cost to send your certificate. It also covers the time to grade your DVD.
